Somehow I think you're much better than you are saying!
Hi everybody, I've just discovered this awesome forum and immediately decided to join. My interest in creating maps is for my sole pleasure, to enrich the fantasy world I am creating; been working on it for a long time, with few success, and the same for its maps... until I discovered CC. I do know how to use photoshop (or gimp) -non.professional at all, but can do a good job- but really like the looks that CC (and similar) maps have, so I may present works on both platforms, who knows...

Knowing what your software can and cannot do is half of the battle...so you're already ahead of many people in that regard. Welcome and have fun.

I have seen some very pretty CC3/Photoshop hybrids, so maybe you can use both for one map.
Check out my City Designer 3 tutorials. See my fantasy (city) maps in this thread.

Hey, and welcome to the guild,
The first time I used CC I was kind of overwhelmed at all the options, so right now I'm exploring PS before going on to anything else.
I am too, still getting used of some of its features (purchased CC3 some weeks ago). That's the cool part, I am still discovering new things
