    Well my day has been absorbed with shading and coloring. OH MY GOSH that is a time sink. My eyes are crossed, so here's the latest update pic:

    That looks better with color and I think your idea to add your own drawing details on buildings to match the overall linework would be great

    Thanks guys, the encouragement helps. I'm working with some different brush settings right now to redo the design the of the forest details. Will post more later.

    Worked on mucho detailos (it's a real word, promise). I still have several details left to hit, as well as some wishlist items that I'm not sure if I have the skill to do, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

    Well I'm done. I'll post the final image in the 'finished maps' section. For the last entry here I'll post a crude overlay of the google earth street lines to show how I based the features of this map from.
