Great thread! I'll be checking back here for more resources to use in my home games!
This time it is a small cavern, with a portal/shrine in the center.
In the adventure this was originally used for, the material which the circular steps were made out of was a major plot point, since ruins made of that material were spread across the world and the characters were trying to track down whoever made the ruins.

With this map I'm playing around with my photoshop touch up job. It still needs a little work. More to come

Hey, I just discovered this thread. I hope you keep posting maps. I really like that temple, it looks as though the wings are floored with raw gold!
cheers,

I've been procrastinating far more than usual this last week, which means more maps. Enjoy.
This one is big. I tried a slightly different method of layering my maps for this one but I'm not sure if I like it.

It's been a while, but this time I have a map with a very different aesthetic. It came from a test that I did for my entry for the lite mapping challenge (which you should pop over and check out). This one wound up just looking kind of like a bunch of photoshop filters, but I am still working on finding a hand drawn looking finish for battlemaps.

I am continuing to experiment with different looks for my maps in photoshop, with this more organic map.
I'm not sure that the way I did the edges and grid lines is great, but how do you think it turned out?

pretty good one but the PS filter you apllied is pretty obvious
Yea, I had to use the filter to cover up some dodgy PS work around the rim of the pit unfortunately.
