This does look very nice and unique. And you did it really quickly! Consider yourself repped.

thanks for the enthusiasm folks, I'm not sure if it's the artist in me but there are just a few things in this that didn't go like I'd hoped and I go back and fourth between liking it and thinking it looks less then impressive.

The border just didn't go as planned, but it's passable. My biggest problem is that the page I painted the original map on wasn't big enough to paint the barrier on. So I used another and then tried with ms paint as my only means of paste and blend (the color sampling and spray paint tools) the edges.

    Next time bigger paper.

Also better inking supplies, and work out the perspective lines as guides as some of the structures don't line up with that as well as they should.

    I like this a lot.

It takes an old medieval town map feeling and puts an eastern twist to it.

    Well done.

Great entries this month. Voting will be difficult.

I really do like the way this turned out. I can see where you are having concerns about perspective issues, but it's not bothering me too much at this point. The colouring is great, i love the trees, the mountains are fabulous.. I really like the way you did the residential area over by the temples.
    Very nice!
