    Just beautiful work! I especially enjoy the details on the land, the forests and mountains looks fantastic. I do have to concur with Diamond on the cliffs though, and like he said, they do look great, but give the wrong impression... maybe? Can't say for sure of course since I don't know the setting. Even so, I absolutely adore both of these, well done indeed!

    Yeah, now I am definitely seeing a slight problem here. I was - more or less - just using the elevated coast as a tool to make the land masses "pop" more. But I can see how this might be misleading. While I personally could probably ignore that and just accept it as a stylistic choice, this leads to another problem. If there were actual cliffs in the map, this style would lead to huge problems, because it would be very hard to differentiate between those and regular coast. So yeah, you guys are right... I might have to reconsider and find another solution for the coasts.

    Great maps! The shading is very effective, the icons and forests are spectacular .

    Very nice! I love how the grass is just peeking out over the cliffs.
