Wip My first Map Work : Persian Palace (Rpg Campaign)

    Dear Cartographers,

First of all let me wish you a Happy New Cartographic Year, may all your map projects come true !

Here is my first Map. It is a Persia Palace specialy made for my players to illustrate an "Official" Campaign for a great french RPG called "Capharnaum" (Persian - Roman/greek - templar universe) here is the official web site (french only - sorry)

You'll find here the beginning and the Work documents I'm using for this map.

I did use Inkskape for the initial design and Phostoshop for the colorring and texturing work.

The Background texture comes from devian art.
The strokes or made with the Vector tool and "use as stroke" without "simulate pressure"
The flat color areas are made with "cloud" effect "fusion mask" with blend "multiply/color" and soft opacity

Comming soon : Inside plan and room in Iso 3D (new experience for me)

Thank you for your comments and tips

I like the finished project and the paper effect.

I am going with the idea that the reason it is not centered is to have a legend of some sort there? Or just a scrawled message to a secret lover with a mark where the princesses window is?
