    Wip The Thieve's King [- JO - dungeon 01]

    Hi,

Here's what I wanted to do : the main part of the thieves's (?) lair, the throne hall, where the King of thieves seats, rule his kingdom and gives « justice » (or more often, punishments through the hole of fire, in the center of the throne room). There are some utility rooms around and some secret passages, to spy or to hide. Guards chamber, cells, et. The King has a personal room, with private stairs...

I don't know if it's what you expected for the guild dungeon, but it's what came in my mind as I read you wrote "guild dungeon"... If I'm out of topic, let me know, and I'll try to adapt...

Meanwhile, here's the plan... I have lots of details in mind that I want to draw, it's just a sketch for now...

Nice start and I think your plan will fit in fine with everything. I like the inspiration/backstory and the layout is interesting.

Yep, this plan will work along with all the other dungeons we'll have.
I'm doing natural walled dungeons at the moment, but will do some man-made, or creature-made, dungeons too.

I Realise I won’t be fast with this one : I have lots of details in mind, colors, lights...
then, again, I think I'll have the time...

As I've finished the former map, I go back to the dungeon map...

Here's an update... I still have the shadows to paint, and that's gonna be something, with so many light sources...

It looks pretty good. The only element that clashes with the rest in my opinion is the brazier in the middle.

Thanks ! I know, I have to work on this... I was thinking, I might make the lava part smaller (deeper), so the "real look" might be less disturbing. Other solution : I try to draw lava by myself...
I must especially draw the stones of the well..
