    Default Tanęphis

    Hi guys,
After a long and interesting Work in Progress, available here, it's a real pleasure to present the final version of my personal vision of Tanaephis, the main continent of a french rpg.
I want to thank every single person who provided comments in order to help pushing me to the limits and get a map I'm proud of. I understand it's hard to help, sometimes, but you guys helped me a lot on this one. So this map is a bit yours as well.
This is for me the perfect example of what it is like to be part of a strong community!

Great work Dain. The last color correction was a good choice.
It looks wonderful and it was a pleasure to watch this come together.

edit - must spread rep. But I will return.

This is fantastic. I absolutely adore the compass! I am so stealing that idea!!

The forests are great and I love the background texture too. Actually there are so many great things that it'll be hard to list them all!

I smite thee with my rep hammer, sirrah! Thy map, 'tis a thing of rare and wondrous beauty! (And that wall looks much better now with the little crenelations. )

Wow, this is wonderful. Beautiful work on the forests (yeah, I'm a forest guy...) and the way you incorporated those rivers and streams running through them. I also really like those subtle background lines. They really add a lot to the basic structure of the piece without being the intrusive in the least. Were those part of the parchment texture or did you do them by hand. And if it's the latter - how?

Anyway, have some well deserved rep!

Haha, my compass idea catches fire

Here again, beautiful map, Dain! This is probably the map I like from you most. So well done, the publisher of Bloodlust can be very happy they got you with this! Would rep you for this, but already did this recently on the WIP. Keep it up, very inspirational! =)

    Best wishes, Steffen
