The Drunk'n Griff'n Inn

Hello everyone,
A new map commissioned by BrutalRPG, a free indie Medieval Fantasy Rpg.
A simple wooden sign painted with what appears to be a drunk griffin trying awkwardly to fly, hangs modestly over a large pair of wooden doors held open revealing a thick crowd of merchants, lumberjacks, city guards, pirates and of course some adventurers. An old, large but active woman (Sally) wearing an apron that claims her to be the “World’s Greatest Cook” greets you cheerfully and offers to help you find a table. The “Drunk’n Griff’n is your classic fantasy inn, tavern, bar, and adventurer-hang out. There are rooms to rent (upstairs), a bar and grill (downstairs), and of course, a friendly bartender who can help the character’s find adventurers well suited to their strengths.

A very fine map Kosmic. I really like your style.

Just a quick question. I'm not that experienced with "house" maps like these, but isn't it good to indicate somehow which is the bottom and top floor? I would assume that the level second from the top is the "entrance" floor, but then the other could either be a high basement or the top floor, because basements can have windows as well.

Anyhow, great work.

I second tainotim, the maps are really great and the arrows are a discreet way to indicate the floor but not always directly understandable. The maps are great as usual though.

top to daown : 1nd floor, ground floor, and basement

I dont understand too how confused the basement of a floor ... the cross hatching shows the difference (or earth wall)
regarding the ground floor and the 1st floor, only one have some doors .... practice to get into the building and you can also understand by watching the stairs (up/down)

but i take this advice and i'll keep it my mind for the next one anyway ...
