Default WIP: Ostrom (commission for Leopardi)

    Hi guys.

I've recently started a new commission, this time doing a regional map. The client is the same as for Brightwater/Waterdeep, and the setting is the same world.

I'm aiming to do this entirely via digital painting, which I'm not used to: I'm much more familiar with traditional drawing methods. But I wanna show progress, and I'm keen to get CC and feedback along the way.

Here is the client's initial sketch:

And here is the current state of the WIP:

Like I mentioned, I'm keen on getting some comments along the way. So, thoughts, anyone?

    THW

This looks very promising. Looking forward to how this will develop. Like the landforms and the feel so far.

looking splendid, THW! Sea gradient is awesome, and the terrain you already have is really making me itch to do something in this style again. You're definitely on the right track here, and it looks like this is going to be another great piece!

Waiting to see this develop. A really nice land shape and this painterly effect for the sea is beautifull. Keep it up.
