    This is actually quite easy to either do with photoshop or GIMP, it works with photos but even better with scans. I you want I could do it for you or tell you how (it's like 5 minutes of work).

    Oh, it might be easy to do digitally, but that's not how I work.

    I'm a traditional pen & paper kind of guy.

    We are opposites then, I can't draw, so everything I make is digital. Aged paper will look nice, but don't risk ruining your original.

    What a great map. I would love to visit sometime. The whole thing looks such fun, and is so wonderfully portrayed. I like the sepia background.

    Beautiful! Good Choice, although the black & white would be superb for publishing.
