Brilliant work Rongar, the whole thing comes together perfectly.

If you saw my workspace Mouse, you'd understand LOL! I am most certainly not OCD in regards to "neatness". I just thought it would look more "natural" if the various bits of paper weren't so neatly arranged.

    Thanks, everyone!

Yeah, I also noticed that the layout is very square, and back when there were only those two elements (the colored map and the letter) I added the dagger and a shadow to get at least some diagonality in there, but the map and the letter need to be pretty neatly arranged for you to look at. I could perhaps slightly rotate the sheet of paper underneath the old map or even the old map itself, since I don't think it's necessary that either of these two elements are as neatly arranged. I'll see what else I can do.

    Wip

Okay, I made a bunch of changes, but for the most part just minor corrections. And since I don't believe to get a whole lot more done, I *think* I'm gonna call this one finished.

    Time to roll the credits.

    Land textures:
I can't tell exactly which textures I used because I merged down some of them, but I used a lot of grass and vegetation textures and mashed them together through various layer modes. I got them from this site. Lots of high res textures free even for commercial use. You can "only" download 10/day, though.

    Ocean textures:
Same as land textures, but used water and paper textures instead.

    Parchment textures:
Created by guild member coyotemax, found here in the mapping elements section.

    Fonts (description / name):
    Letter & poem font: Perigord
    Handwritten notes: James Fajardo
    Title font: UnZialish Medium

    Various:
Dagger and sheath found on Pixabay
    Table texture found on Texturelib

I ... think that's it? Now on to the latest - or dare I say "final" - WIP.

Nice work Rongar, but just two complaints:

    1. it makes voting so much harder having so many high quality entries
    2. reading the first line of the text just made me think of a Sex Pistols song about a ship called Venus and I can't get it out of my mind now

Hmmm, Well done matey \m/ I think yours and Thomrey's will be top 2, well, they are for me at least. Voting is going to be close on this challenge I reckon, some extremely good entries.
