Map Paris 1700 - commission map

    Hey Guilders,

Here's a commissioned map made for the french RPG Terra Incognita, depicting Paris and its outskirts in 1700. Original size is 26x37". As always, everything was digitally hand-drawn.

Hope you'll like it. As usual, feel free to rate, rep or run away

Amazing work Max. So impressive. What sources did you use for this map?

I'm not a big fan of real world maps, but this is simply amazing! I like the subdued colour scheme.

Very nicely done! You captured the antique style masterfully.
Did you have some sort of guide to work off for the layout of the buildings and farms?
That river is familiar from a challenge map Ilanthar made which was also Paris.

I offer map commissions for RPG's, world-building, and books

I've worked from some material given by the game author (who is a History teacher) and also from some historical maps of the era.
