Shame I wasn't able to finish, I'll continue working up until the thread closes, but this is probably the last I can get in :/

I've only been able to draw the golem workshop right now, and haven't even been able to make the larger golems on the outside of the tower. But, nontheless for what it is right now I think it looks pretty good.
Comments and criticism is always appreciated!

Both the tower and the city layout look really good. If you have any energy left to finish this, it could turn out to be a very stylish map. Good luck, eViLe_eAgLe!

Another short update, hopefully that makes it a bit more presentable.

Now if only I could color it in time..

Yup, it's better with shadows... and I like the inner glow on the title (perhaps to lower the opacity on the title just a little?).

And the final update before I have to retire.
Some of its a hurried job, but it works for the purpose I think. Except the golem sketch, I couldn't really get it right.

Also @Shall I tried dimming it a bit, does that help?

Yup, it seems that the title is not 'floating' above the picture any more...
And one quick idea: try adding some flat color (ie. the title color or that gray mix from the city map) in the circle around the golem on a low opacity layer; this might draw attention to the golem's nice shape, yet hide the sketch lines, and balance the picture at the same time.
