I haven't done the forest shading

Thank you for spotting that. I will do it straight away tonight.

LOL - I was so intent on getting everything else right I completely forgot the forests!

Some things I learn really fast, while others take forever, I can work a lot of complicated stuff out by myself, providing its logical, but if you try to teach me how to do a simple, but illogical process, you will have to repeat yourself and show me several times - to the point of near exasperation with me

I only used a single shading layer right over the top of everything (except the bubble). I'd never thought of putting it underneath everything as well. I must try that sometime.

If you like the bubbles I think there are a couple in my free textures and other useful bits and bobs album (link below).

Well, its done - the forest shading I mean

And even though it doesn't sound like much - a few millimetres of overlaid black around the shaded edge of the forests - it somehow seems to make a really big difference.
