    Another update. Put the major buildings in...and a bit of shading, not sure if I'm happy with that though...

    Hi XCali,

    I should've posted this with the hand drawn one...

    The gates for the outer wall will be in the Sth Eastern diagonal wall and in the Southern wall of the main keep.

    Are the wrinkled lines in the north and east rivers or mountain slopes? Looks good so far!
    How densly populated will the place be? I ask because of the much open space between the buildings by now. No criticism here, just a question you could ask yourself.
    I find it quite difficult to make up the right density of buildings to match the assumed population.

    Hi Eld,
    Yes, the wrinkled lines are mountain slopes with a river running N-SSE.

    The buildings shown are the major buildings, there will be other smaller ones added. I haven't worked out population yet.
