Map Loyala and the island of Essertines

    A quick and dirty one....
Back from hospital, I start to map again, and wanted to try a kind of map I hadn't really explored before (the kind of map we can find in books).

I spent a few hours for this one on Procreate, on Ipad and did the labels on PS.

Great little map! I love the hand-made look, like those uneven (but still very precise) lines on the water...

I wish my quick and dirty maps would look like that...

Just curious, were the decorations (ships, dragon) also done on the iPad?

Thanks ! Yes. the ships, dragon, cartouche and compass were made on the Ipad. I used PS to work a bit on the shore lines, add the labels and rhumb lines.

Nice sketchy style ! I would have done the cities with a slightly thicker line, though.

Yep.. you're right. It seemed OK on the Ipad, now they seem a bit too fainted. The problem is that I paid no attention to the resolution at first... And it's too low. So, I'm down to 1 pixel to draw the details of the cities, and it's clearly not enough !
