Hello all, I am new here and to map making. I am currently working on my first ever world map for my new end campaign setting. I am looking for advice on geographical features before I move on to forestry and bones. Any help you can give would be wonderful.

    Thank you very much!

EDIT: Uploaded jpg rather than a photo of a screen

Oddly enough.. yes, I was just trying to get a quick picture on my phone before leaving for work today and just taking the picture seemed to be a lot quicker than emailing it to myself at the moment. May the computer gods one day forgive my error.

At least tell me you saved the file somewhere? You could export it as a jpeg and post it directly on the site.

You've got a nice start there. The main point of critique I see right now is that your rivers seem much too smooth as compared to the coastlines. Try to have the same level of jaggedness and detail in the river courses as in the other features on the map.

    Default more on rivers

I suggest that along with more variation in the rivers you consider if the rivers supply water to any marsh or swamp areas. Are the rivers flowing through rolling hills, open savanna, dry parched bluffs above the river course or into low lying terrain that would become swampy from the river flow. Nice looking world lay out.
