Here is a town I did a while ago. I have now repurposed it for a Dungeon Crawl Classics character funnel.

Interesting interpretations. Sinister things do happen but I didn't plan the town itself to be sinister. May have to ruminate on that.

It does look like a pretty closed and small community though. I bet there are some real dramas going on!

This town looks really great. It reminds me of the town in the Lord of the Rings movie.

For the labels I think you mean hovels, not hobbles. Hobbles is when someone walks funny with a limp or some other impairment, and a hovel is a tiny and poorly appointed house.
