Thread: Political borders with 2 color lines

Default Political borders with 2 color lines

I want to separate my kingdom map by Duchies and Counties. The Kingdom already has its borders, so I need to make different kinds of political borders for Duchies and inside duchies borders for Counties, I though in something like a line with little squares, one black and another white, or a line with 2 different colors in each half.

I managed to create a pattern that does that, but sometimes when the line is put in vertical it looks awful:

dam, that's is a hard one. In Photoshop you may create a path using the pen tool, then stroke the path using a pattern....honestly i don't know.
Sorry any grammatical error, I'm better with Portuguese than English.

    I think this might work.
Select the pen tool, change the tool mode from Path to Shape.

Set the fill color to empty and the stroke color to black, then draw the border.

Then Duplicated the Shape, and change the new shape strke type to dashed, and change the stroke color to red.

Use the Move tool to adjust, to get a nice fit.
Then just rasterize those Shapes and marge the layers.

Thanks, it worked, any way to round the edges tho?

Edit: I rounded the edges using the eraser tool.
