    Map Personal Cosmographie I

My favorite map types are personal cosmographies. When I receive this type of order, I ask for a detailed description of the personal references of the person to be mapped. Then I transform this description into geographic information, and I represent it on the map.
In this case, for example, a boy commissioned a map for his best friend's 20th birthday. From the information he gave me, I produced this "personal cosmography." The image has details like favorite bands and artists, memories and experiences, references to family and friends.
I believe that Cartography can also express our inner worlds, as our most beautiful and rich, our identity.
I have already done other personal cartography work that I intend to publish here as well. I hope you like it, I did in the style of a cartographic projection of Mollwide.

First I drew, and then I scanned and colored in photoshop.

The information that was more personal, I deleted the image before publishing.
    I Hope you like it!

An amazing work, Brendo ! I love your style, especially for the border : you can just get lost for a while, looking at the details

I love the fusion of cartography and portraiture (or representation of a person). Great idea!

It's really refreshing to see someone taking on such an old style like this, I commend you Brendo, great work! I really love your varied forest styles, it really gives the feel of different climates, and I have to second Misty on that stellar border job, just fantastic!

Awesome! I really like how you came up with different tree symbols and clustering them to make forests. Have some rep!
We all wish to create, but do we really create?
What we draw and what we write is part of us.
No we do not create, we simply discover who we are.

This is beautiful, and I love the story behind it.
