Default Mar/April '20 Lite Challenge: Map of Rohtar

    Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well and are hanging in there making best of the situation with COVID19 stiring the kettle.
I decided to pick up traditional mapping again with this challenge.
So here is my first sketch of Rohtar on A3.
Unfortunately the paper quality is not what I would like it to be, but my favorite art supliers are closed at the moment so it will have to do.

I hope you're doing okay too! The only positive thing about all this often is that staying indoors is a good time to work on some maps.
Always psyched to see your WIP's, I'll be here in the corner cheering you on. I already enjoy the shape of the islands.

It’s an awsome challenge so it’s my pleasure Bogie!
Yes it will be a whirlpool if all goes well

The plan is to take my allready cartoonish style a step further and try my hand at an oldskool RPG style map this time

Started shaping the eastern part of landmass, with the stoneforest and the magmaplateau.

Apologies for the quality of the pictures, will improve those as soon as I started inking and coloring

I growing quite fond of this style Bogie, allthough I doubt it will be suitable for big maps

    Latest work in progress:
Started working on the border for a bit to figure out shapes and sizes.
Got a head full of ideas for this map, grand places for adventures!

This already feels like a "best adventures you ever dreamt of"-Theme-Park-Island.
