A rework of my previous map of Prynh, a homebrew campaign world used for D&D games. This is my first full-color attempt at a map and I think it came out pretty well. It went through a lot of changes, but I ended up going with some safer options for certain designs as opposed to hand painted options until I feel I've mastered those forms.
I took a lot of inspiration from other cartographers for things like the border, etc.
Entire map done in Photoshop with use of Intuos5 pen tablet for drawing the city icons.
