The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

hey there! I have no idea what user etiquette is here. I would not THINK that editing an image in order to convey your meaning would be a big deal, but you never know. Some people get real touchy about things. If you ever wanna mess with anything I ever make to show me things, I am all for it!
Heya, Krome. This is odd, but I think one of my reply posts got deleted due to an attachment. Are there pretty strict rules about what goes on? I don't think I overstepped my bounds, but I made some edits to another user's image and re-posted the small edits. Is that bad? I know he was looking for feedback and I think an image outlining some suggestions wasn't too over the line, do you? Plenty more post to follow for sure.
