The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.

Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Biography:: I may forget to change my status message for days or more. Don't read anything into it. Just means I'm forgetful and don't hang out on Facebook all the time. I'll get to it eventually.I am the proud Mother of a Nutty, Inventive, Charismatic, and Brilliant 21 year old. I'm an Earth Worshipper, an Online Activist, an Admirer of Snow and Thunderstorms, an Empath, and Lover of Animals (especially my 2 yr old kitty Kira who is the most docile cat on the Earth planet... but is a professional scaredy-cat.)I'm also an intermediate-level jewelry artisan. I hand-craft all of my jewelry. I began with needle, thread, and beautiful glass beads. I've since worked my way up to Sterling Silver wire and Swarovski crystal beads.
