Default Dryads' Lair Principality - commission

This is the overland map that was part of my first commission (first commission! I'm still so excited). The city map lies over here. As with the city maps, these have been sent off some time ago to my wonderful patron. However, I'm really interested in learning as much as I can from the experience and I would be really happy to hear critiques and suggestions. Or just have a look .

    The Principality of Dryads' Lair.

    cheers,
    Meshon

Love those cliffs and the city icons are great. I particularly liked the little half-ruined houses. That's a neat touch.

Thanks very much! I should maybe share those buildings somewhere since they're pretty easy to export. This was all done in Illustrator, so it's really simple to cut elements out.

I'm really happy with the lighthouse at Heoldun. My client needed three lighthouses; two of them were fairly traditional but I based Heoldun on this place.

The whole project was really fun. Thanks for checking it out!

    cheers,

Really nice work Meshon. Must agree, the buildings look wonderful sir.
Only bit I'd change is the font. I like the font, but I don't think it works well with the style of the map.
That being said, it's just an opinion and does not in any way detract from the fine work you did on the map.

I really like it, and the one who commissioned it can consider him (or herself) very glad.
I do agree with J.Edward though with regards to the font.

A very hearty YES to Wired and others about how happy my players and myself are with this project from Meshon.

It was very cool of him to find that lighthouse to give it a nice authentic look for a small community out on the edge.

    I would definitely hire again.
