    Wip Map of Shalyeun

Whew. I think I'm just about done with this now. I'm mostly done with the labeling. Some of the cities, I don't think I'll even label for now, because they're just not that important, and I'm running out of decent names for stuff.

The forest in the south is supposed to be a jungle. I had a lot of trouble with it, but I think it turned out okay. At least, I hope so.

Now that the map is mostly done... time to start working on other parts of this campaign setting! Like history, and NPCs.... Hmm. Maybe I better tweak the map some more....

The brushes I used in making this map can be found here in case anyone wants them.

Nice, I love the way it looks already.

As for your question, I use this, with some trees so as not to confuse it with a marsh.

Or you could just use some swampy looking trees and some sqiggly symbols around the spaces between trunks.

I like your mountains, interesting and maybe I'll give that a try.

For swamps you could also use something like... _\|/_
    Though AgentFox's idea is good.

Poor representation with just characters, but I think you'll get the idea.

    Uploaded a bigger version. ^_^

The one I've been uploading is only 25% of the actual size. I was wondering if I should upload a bigger one instead. This one is 50%.

Nice job. I actually like the colors you picked for the countries...

Those mountains are very cool. They dominate the map in a good way...my eye is drawn right to them. The style is very consistent throughout the map, which is also very good. The colors for the countries are informative and subtle enough that they don't subtract from the map at all.

    Awesome work so far!
