    Post What are group memberships?

If you click on a person's profile, one of the boxes is labelled 'Group Memberships' - I was just wondering what it was.

That shows what groups you belong to, BUT...I'm not using it because it only shows public groups...and if I made groups public, users would be able to request membership into the group...

The only group that qualifies for that is Industry Pro...and I just set that group to public and am off to test that change now.

Some examples of non-public groups which I use to manage users is: registered users, users awaiting email confirmation, Community Leaders, Challenge Winners, Administrators

    Make sense?

Another example is...the challenge winners group although not public has the benefit of displaying "challenge winner" under their username when they post.
