Hi everyone,
I just finished to see a tutorial to paint maps and this is my trial.
What do you think?

You seem to have the painting part down!

The tag taped onto the upper right corner is kind of distracting -- it's not clear why it's on there (who tapes a tag on a string to the surface of their map?), and it covers up important information such as the label on the city.

The coastline has some really nice detail, but that clashes with the very generalized look of the roads -- I would make the roads a bit more jagged, like they're winding around hills and rivers and so forth as they go.

With regards to Mapsburgh's comment, I actually like the contrast between the smoothness of the roads to the jaggedness of the coastline. I agree as far as the tag though, that is a little jarring.

I would say make it so that the radiating lines from the symbol bottom center on the map, make those only overlay the water, not the land. I think it would look a little better that way.
