Very cool and original take on the challenge.

A nice look, clean and polished with a certain grunge "feel" but there are some river abnormalities. They are easily fixed though. First, lakes only have one out-flowing river so a simple eraser will fix those. Second, rivers don't stay split except at deltas...they join up and since a delta hits the ocean they don't have a chance to rejoin. Here, again, a simple eraser will fix this. Lastly, rivers don't join two seas...they go to one. Again, eraser fixes it. You need a compass but I'm sure you just haven't gotten that far yet. Overall, it's a nice map to look at.

Thanks for the critique ascension. Very helpful.
Also, changed the name of the region to Dorvallen. (not that it matters for the purpose of this challenge, but I ran a google search on the names, and apparently Norvallen was somehow already in use by another fantasy setting. Figures)

Very nice map and my only suggestion is to just add few river names.

I think that winning this month's competition is going to be about the theme that entrants bring to the map....and that is a fantastic theme, and a great colour scheme too. Way out in front in my (humble) book.
Thanks for the compliments all,
I wanted to make something that felt like it might have come out of a WWI or WWII period world. Old propaganda poster style. Also, I like the fact that it reminds you of KMFDM Ascension!
