Post Greetings from Deepest Darkest Bavaria

Also popping my head above the parapet as well. Particularly as I've been really inspired by several of the maps here over time. This is my magnum opus for our RPG - the town of Karickbridge, based almost completely on a medieval plan of Conwy in Wales. Hope you like it, took me a while to put together, but it's been a place where our group has had many fun hours over the last two years.

That's a very nice looking little map, clean and legible too. I look forward to seeing some more of your town maps.

I agree. It looks ready to use in a campaign. Very nice.

Ja mei! Bist'd a boarischer Bayer oder a' Frank, wie mer?

Question: With what did you make your map?

Mark, Freodin, I muss each leida entäuschen - I bin a Engländer! (der seit mehr als 20 Jor im schönen Oberbayern lebt).
The map was put together in PhotoImpact. I think there was some OpenOffice draw involved in creating the building - cool vector program.
I'm not sure how many more maps I'll create - I'm more a story-teller than a map-maker, but if I create anything that I'm particularly happy with, I'll post.

I hope you do find time to continue mapping, maybe a small map with a good story? This is a nice map. I agree with Larb's comments on looking clean and legible. Thanks for sharing.
