    Post Forums rearranged and optimized.

Well, its official...I have restructured the forums based on a combined effort of several members. After over a year of operation and not really having a well defined vision or specialty, the site now very obviously is a bit more focused.

None of your topics were removed. Everything has been moved into other forums, and as myself and the community leaders start going through old topics, some may continue to be moved and possibly some subject lines will be renamed. Some forums will get a sticky post specifying posting guidelines to try and keep things relevant and easy to follow.

All-in-all, I think this is going to be a positive step forward for the website, and now I can pursue some traffic generating avenues.

heh. Thats kind of funny. I tend to use the "show all posts since last visit" option and never even look at the forum structure.

Thanks for posting about the changes

RobA, I pretty much do the same thing. It is just faster to do it that way, but for new comers they'll want to explore quite a bit at first and the new structure should definitely help them get acquainted and may even encourage them to post.

Sorry, this came to me late...The category marked 'Textures, Brushes and Symbols' might be better named - 'Mapping Elements', so it would then be an open list and include other elements used in mapping such as fonts, cartouches, templates etc.

Just a thought while the name changes were still fresh.
