You have nicely followed pasis tutorial. The forest (dark green area) stands out a bit too much to my taste, but otherwise it's just fine for 30 minutes of work.
Hi fellas.
I cranked out the map below in under one hour easily (took me ~30 minutes or so, don't know exactly) and I quite like it. I am currently thinking about expanding the story written on the map with more maps, showing the way of the six siblings, fleeing from the north.
Tell me what you think and if the story sounds vaguely interesting

Very cool map for 30 mins of work. I can see Pasis his tutorial at work here

Yeah I heavily annexed Pasis' style
I just happen to love that style and am mapping with it since at least 4 months now, if not more

You have made Man-mountain (Bird-Mountain?) rather than Lizard-mountain. Excellent work!
Thanks! I changed a few techniques, specifically the trees. I use a scattering brush of 2px size and a woodland texture, this leads to more "realistic" spreads of woodlands, I'd say. At least it looks more natural, I think.
Care to elaborate? I do not exactly know what you mean
He's referring to the mountain range shape in Pasis' tutorial (it looks like a gecko) but yours doesn't. Looks good to me, nice work.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Ah okay, thank you very much for the info and praise, then!
Very nice, though I find the text difficult to read (probably just me tho ).
