Map Atlas Class Deep Space Cargo Ship

I've been pretty busy lately with work and Real Life (TM) so I haven't been around here (or other message boards) as much as I would like. I did finally finish my Atlas Class Cargo Ship (the WIP page can be found here) so I thought I would share the final version.

I'm visualizing this cargo ship as having either an early FTL drive so cryo-pods are needed for the crew (who can be awaken should the computer detect an anomaly), or the company that employs this class of ship cuts back on gravity generation as a cost cutting measure.

I haven't been on here too long, but it's quite inspiring to see some 'vehicle maps'.

A little critique though, the living compartment seems awfully small for the crew. I think that despite the 'deep sleep pods' they should have at least some basic living quarters. What if they encounter an anomaly that lasts for a few days?

I'm talking toilets, beds, food-storage kitchen etc...

That and this ship desperately needs a side view and/or a perspective view. Good job! I understand my rep isn't worth anything yet, but I'll give it anyway

You make a good point about having living compartments of some type. I was picturing this ship as being from the early period of interstellar space travel so the crew would be wearing some sort of space-suit (which means they can go in their suits which would perhaps recycle any wastes) and food would probably be some sort of field rations (MREs). That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL!

I've created a PDF for the ship. I also tweaked the ship map a little bit while I was at it. Click on image for the PDF.
