I am gleeful to be the first to congratulate you on this striking piece of map artistry!
I've finally finished this map ... took a bit of time as I've been rather busy, but now I concider it all done and can move on to the next. A big thanks goes to Pasis for making the tutorial that got me started and taught me the basics of how to make this map - great tecniques
And a big thanks to all the people who commented on it on the way to help me improve it
EDIT: Looks like the thumb didn't generate, don't know if that is because of its size? But please click and watch and tell me what you think

Very fine map, tilt!
Very nice map Tilt! i like especially the snow on the forests in the north, the colors you choosed and the finitions. Very good
Beautiful work Tilt! Great sense of height and depth, interesting and novel way of framing the map, and I also really like those city/capital/mines icons. Greta job and have a bit of rep.
Cheers,

Tilt, this looks great! I like the mountains and the interesting land features you put in there like "The Hand" which I think you pulled off very well.
Definitely a keeper.
