and a happy new year to everyone!
Happy new year to U all in whatever realm or world ur living.
May this New Year bring wisdom to U all in your mapmaking project.
Also may this community continue to growth in wisdom and friendship, because up to now, this is the place where I've seen the more help between member and friendly person.
In conclusion, may your house be cover in snow so that you must stay inside and work on your maps...

may 2008 be better than 2007
Something witty and pithy
The New Year is fast approaching us here on the left coast so I'll say a final Happy New Year to all, and hope that 2008 finds us all knee deep in cartographic goodness and friendships.
Happy 2008 to Everyone!

Happy New Year, everyone! I love how the arrival of a new year brings a new begining and a clean slate. 2007 wasn't the best year for me personally and professionally, but with the new year now arrived, I want to start out with a positive attitude that things can only get better! I wish everyone here the same in 2008 as well.
I was so disappointed that I was not able to participate here as 2007 came to a close, but alas the fates (i.e. real life) conspired against me. I want to jump back in though and my goal is to pick up where I left off in my CC3 Undermountain-style dungeon mapping thread as soon as possible. I hope to combine some of the techniques for creating your own style found in the December 2007 issue of the Cartographer's Annual as well.
I look forward to seeing everyone's work, learning more, and hopefully helping others to learn something too.
Here's to a great 2008!
