I think some transitioning into the arctic regions would make it look more natural. Looks pretty good though.

also, an image that size you could just upload via the attachment system.

I'm curious- why is there no southern polar ice? Just curious really, not a critique if your work. It looks good so far. I think if you added some pastel blue in the transition of the arctic to the green vegetation, it would help make it more realistic. Remember that color in real life transitions using color temperature.

That's because this map only show landmasses and not the frozen seas, the north is a frozen land.
For the color that's kind of an issue when I work beacause I'm color blind xD.

Here's a closeup view of a northen region with major cities rivers seas and ocean, I'm going to make the same for several regions, maybe not the whole planet, well not for now. I'm aware that we can't really read river names I'm going to fix that point later, your critics are welcome =)

Just certain color depending of the shades, For example I don't recognize light yellow, light green and light orange. I can sometime mistake between brown and red, blue and purple, grey and pink, green and grey, green and brown, etc... I've got some tips to affiliate object to their usualy comon color so I don't get spotted but it's really hard for me to distinguish colors, the most funny thing is that I usually only see two colors on rainbows: blue and yellow, kind of an irrony, everybody would love to have my beautiful blue eyes, I would certainly give them against their to see what the world looks like when it's colorfull =)
