This looks great so far. I love the inland sea. I can't wait to see where this goes.
Because I am trying to drive myself insane by working on four projects at once, here is an initial sketch-up of my world map for MatthewRM. I tried to stay true to his original sketch, but also wanted to make the continent more asymmetrical. I also wanted to kind of wash out the sea color near the poles to help reinforce the environmental extremes the client described to me.
Anyways, here it is so far.

It doesn't look like I accomplished a lot since the first update, but it took me a long time to get the navigational lines the way I wanted them and to get the mountains symbols to look right. The mountain symbols come from Quabbe's brush set. I "colorized" them and then used the "clone stamp tool" method to apply them. I'm pretty happy with how they look...long way to go yet though.

This is amazing. I love the navigation lines, and the mountains look. The more I look at it the more I like stuff like the coastlines and the inland sea. I just wish the sea had been my idea. Its going to work out so well...
It's great so far and I have a feeling this is going to look really nice.

Looks good, but it seems the trees have shadows on the right side, mountains on the left-
Doh! Nice call
