Wow. That looks great! Can't wait to see what you do with the thing when you ARE used to it!
So today I've decided to buckle down and learn to use the Intuos 4 I got for Christmas. I really need to learn to use this thing and what a good chance I have with my lite challenge entry. So I'm putting a small WIP for my portraits as I create them. So far I've started with using the previous Fable II portrait of "Maggie the Maid" and using that as a base to start from. This where I've gotten so far just using the Ink tool in GIMP and erasing. Any hints or any help appreciated.
P.S. It's been so long that I did any drawing like this so please understand that it took me 1 hr to do this haha.
Cheers, Julien

Gratz no the tablet ... and don't be harsh on yourself... drawing anatomy is the hardest thing, and requires practise every day for years to do it in a couple of minutes. Also drawing on a tablet is completely different from drawing on paper paper.
So I say you're doing a VERY good job so far (I would't dare to post my first tries using a tablet on the forum ! When I try to draw characters, I usually start-up with a stick-figure to get the main pose right, and then go in for the real linework (but I'm no expert .
.. as for the drawing, I'm missing something... shouldn't that woman be holding some big glasses of beer? cheers
Almost there on this one . The arm and hands and feet are left.

Far, far better than I could ever hope to do.

So this one is done and two more to go. The wifey is asking me to make my own logo so I can sign/watermark things with. That's my next project it seems. I think she wants me to develop a brand and start getting commissions soon. We shall see.

That gets a Wow! from me. Not that I'm an artist or anything, but she's very well endowed...was that a design choice or just to appeal to the market?
