Nice Job. I really like your forest and ocean textures. Looks like a fun place for a campaign.
My second attempt at a map. My D&D group has been adventuring, mostly around Riversend - in the Araba region. Korlani.jpg

The mountains seem a bit strange to me, but other than that a fine job!

Hey Guys: Thanks for looking and for your comments. SG: you're right. I'm still learing to do mountains. The old ones looked to much like what my dog, Boris, did one night on the rug after eating too much fat. tf
This is a great example of what some good patterns and some good colors can do. Almost makes mapping too easy. That said, I think the little red half-circles don't quite fit right and the red text, too. The red text I might change to an orange or reddish-orange. The yellow-orange roads I'd change to a light tan. The half-circles, not sure, maybe black or white - not sure what they're supposed to represent.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

Thanks to both Ascension and SG. I really respect some of the work I've seen from both of you and value your comments. Ascension: the reddish circles represent less populated towns or villages and the half circles represent the various Tribal settlements.
Good calls on the color though. I wasn't totally happy with it either. SG: I really do struggle with the mountains also. The 2nd attempt actually did use one of the tutorials here, but I need to work out the details more - parts of it I'm not quite getting it. But I think the 2nd version is a step in the right direction. Thanks again for the helpful comments. tf
