April Entry: Six Sea Birds

Hey everyone. Here's my entry for the April challenge. The map was a very quick and simple hand drawing, so I had to compensate for its simplicity by making it a tattoo on a young lady's naked backside. Hopefully, you will be distracted enough by her that you won’t notice...

While I love creating logic puzzles, I hate creating solution keys for them. I’ll try to get one together and post it here in case any of you decide to give it a try. My twelve year old son was able to slog through it once I helped set up a logic grid for him, so I know it’s solvable (Bonus!).

For those of you who do these 3D photorealistic images, I used Victoria (v.3 from DAZ) with a customized texture map and rendered in Poser 6 over a nice warm tropical background. (Can you tell that I’m feeling rather summer starved right now? – We’ve got an April blizzard going on here as I type this.)

You guys crack me up! I like the combination of the logic puzzle with the map. I'm very curious now, though, about what those birds mean. Were they real birds or metaphorical? What great secret will be revealed when the dead birds are found? Do the other four birds yet live, and what could be learned by finding them? Intriguing.

In researching the mystery of the Pirate Daughter's Sea Bird Puzzle, archivist Johann Keelbottom found a rarely used archival map of the Gulf of Edona region. A section of the map fairly matches the crude map tattooed on Ms. Emileet's back. This should make it easier for would be adventurer's to find whatever mysteries the clues lead to. Be warned, however. The area known as the Pirate Waves is still home to a well established pirate enclave.

(I was feeling guilty for not putting enough effort into my initial map, so I went ahead and put together something a little more substantial...)

Wow, Rlucci, that's a very authentic looking map - has a look as if created in the 18th or 19th century. Very nice!
