Praise We Need more of these!

Congrats to whoever thought of this. It was in the BEASTLANDS entry for the Wiki, and I think EVERY area, from Groam, and Thrubmorton etc should have one done for them to show exactly where on Ansium they are.

    Kudos!

That was Rav's doing. It's a genius idea, I only wish it were a bit bigger.

Oh right, I kept it small because it was just meant to be like a little call out rather than a map in its own right - if you want a bigger version that's no problem. It's in the Lake Festus entry - I've also posted up a 'blank' one (without any red) so people can make their own as well.

    Thanks for the compliment, NN!

Here a redone version of the region 12 zone (beastland).

Also I would like you to take a look to this web page for an idea possible for the overview section of the wiki (if it can be put there that is).

Just tell me what you think,

Alucard, I prefer the older version personally. It's plain and simple, bit like me
Could we have a blank version, Ravs? Then we could fill our own red bits over the region we're mapping.

By the way, how do I get the Akron region on the Wiki main menu? Or don't I qualify as a major location?

For teh region small map, we will stick with the plain one, they are cool and easy to use.

The other point I was wandering about was for the overview menu. Just take a look at this link: I made a map of Ansium and I then use the swap image function to help select the place.
Since it's a test, only Groam Is working properly.

So what do u think about it? can we use it on the wiki?
    Does i need change?

That's pretty cool Alucard, nice job so far. I would think we could use it in the WIKI, but I'm not sure.

It's a cool idea, but it's not very responsive--it takes a little while to download each image as you mouseover them because they're all the same size as the big map. It might be possible to overcome that by slicing it up and using a table, so each image that is swapped out is much smaller than the whole map. Fireworks can do stuff like that pretty easily.
