Welcome aboard, it just goes to show you it's possible to learn something from crazy people too.
I'm sure most of us would love to learn some things from you as well so please share anything you are able to.
I am a GIS Tech by trade and have kept my employers happy with my map-making skills. But lately I feel like I've hit a wall and that a lot of my maps just have the same monotonous feel to them. For the past two months I guess, I've been trying to find more creative and captivating ways to make my maps. Then I find this site. I think this may be just the place I'm looking for.
Jumping around this web site is already giving me new ideas and I am really looking forward to implementing them. And I've got a lot to learn. Unlike fantasy maps, I'm still constrained to real world data, but I don't need to be constrained to how I present it. Thank you for this website.
