    Default Desert city map

    Hi,
Didn't post here for a long time,
this is a map I did about a year ago, only now I've given it some color & shading.
the concept is this: it used to be a big city on a lake island, but now the lake is dry & all that remains from the city's former glory is the huge tower looming over the city.

Any advice on how to improve would be most welcome.

I like this, and I think it would also be a great looking city when the lake was filled up - why not do a retrospective of the city in its glory?
Was it always a dry environment, or were the surrounding hills once covered in plants? The shadows of the hills and the city are amazing, by the way.

Beautiful work, both with and without the water. Repped.

Great work. I love that you put up a map of the place before the water disappeared. It really gives you the right feeling when you look at the now ruined city. I think I have to do something like this once as well, a map before and after the catastrophe.
