    Map Thysperia

I'm playing around with a new symbol set and that's the result so far.

    Done in PS.

Looks good so far, how many Active sets you you have? I liked the Hybergia a Lot.

Looks really good. Two small things though, if you don't mind. The hills are a bit pointy, if you understand what I mean. This especially shines through where you have a cluster of them on their own. Also the longitude/latitude lines, that look really good, are a bit strong imo, that gives the feeling of the landmass floating on top of the sea. Maybe if you tone them down a bit. But that is just nitpicking. The new styleset look really good.

Looks great to me too. There is one thing that made me wonder though:

Are those stumps really huge trees because they are bigger than mountain ranges?

    Thank you!
Maybe half a dozen sets that I use currently and some older ones.

Thanks! No trees - huge rocks.

I have to guess what you mean with 'pointy' - so maybe a lower contrast to the background could ease this problem.

Personaly i dont like low contrasts, i would just draw some less pointy variations.

LOL, I see it clearly now. I don't know what I was thinking before!

Very nice, clean work. I like it a lot, and I really like your compass rose!

I love this. It was seeing this map on DeviantArt that led me here. I'd really like to something in this style (des t have a name?). Any thoughts on where to begin? In going to hopefully start drawing coastlines on my Cintiq in PS5. CHEERS. THANKS.

Thank you. It doesn't have a special name - at least I can't think of one. Try to work on symbols, they have a great impact on the look of the map.
