    Default Lakura Bay

Hey! I started this map a few days ago, and just finished it a bit ago. Made it in photoshop, entirely from scratch. I'm very proud of the way it worked out. It's made up of about 50 or so layers. Anyway, here it is! Let me know what you think

I like the forests, the navigational lines and the overall color palette. I am less keen on the dark shadow surrounding the land, and consequently, the black rivers. The mountains turned out alright, but there is a hard bevel to them. Overall though not a bad piece.

    Cheers,

I like the style. But for me, the forests could be a lot more pronounced.

Nice landshape and colours and I like the empty space with a lot of sea.
Though I agree with Arsheesh about coastlines/rivers. Also I'm not really convinced by the moutains, the border and the graphic element under the title

Okay. I took your advice and applied it to the map. Let me know what you think of this new updated version. Making the forests more pronounced was hard, so it may be hard to notice any difference at all.

I wouldn't completely get rid off the coastlines. maybe just put one with another color than black (maybe some colors similar to your mountains?). An you could maybe add another sort of border?
