cool theme for this one, ill keep a close eye on this. might try to 'tale part' if i have the time
After last month's rather specific lair challenge, this month's is quite a bit more open. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it is to come up with a map that is nautically-themed. This could be a deck plan of a ship, a map showing sea-borne trading routes, a map illustrating a naval battle, a map showing an underwater ruin or lair, or any other sea-going map you can come up with.
Title each new thread May/June Lite Entry - <your title>
Precede each WIP image with the tag ### Latest WIP ###.
The challenge will end on or around the 13th of June, and the winner will receive a silver compass, glory, and maybe a groupie or two.
Interesting theme indeed
I've always wanted a grou… I mean, silver compass!
If I get a good idea I think I'll give this a try, I've been thinking of a watercolor technique for island groups that could fit nicely in this theme.
Cool concept! Definitely joining this time!
Man, shame I already have a regular compass. I would love to bring the lair of my Dwarven Pirates to life.
I am the breath of Dragons...The Song of Mountains...The Stories of Rivers....The Heart of Cities.... I am A Cartographer....

OK, I've been away a while because of Real Life (TM). But I'm ready to come back in and take a gander at another challenge . Nautical themed? hmm.....
Welcome back, you've still got plenty of time, about 15 days.

Yep, never too late to join the fun.
A note to entrants present and future: Please make sure you put the ### Latest WIP ### tag above your attachments, or they will not show up in the thumbnail scraper and the voters won't be as easily able to see your entry. That seems to be the main stumbling block for all of these challenges, for some reason.
