That's very cool.
How do you do it? What software (if any) do you use?
This is my current project. I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this or not, because this is not even close to being done and I don't know if I will finish it. There are many different styles of double hemisphere maps that I like and everytime I get inspired by another style I want to start over!
Anywho, let me know what ya think.
Thanks.
edit: fixed font prob on map

Utterly yummy! Beautiful colour choices and composition as with your last map.

No Where near being done dude? you are possibly the best artist on here man these maps are amazing. I like how everything is so close and then theres this huge swath of ocean, most likely that ocean wouldn't be explored until something like plane travel was invented because there really isn't any point, "Y'Think anything out thar?" "Don know lets go look" 20 years or so later "Okay turns out theres nuthin, oh well there's 20 years of our life gone" LOL.
The inland Sea in the corner is a little weird however.

Thanks Ark, I appreciate the kind words but it does not take too much talent to mimic what others have done. There are several mappers on this site that are far far more talented than I could ever hope to be. They come up with their own styles and their color schemes are amazing.
I am not saying that I stink though!
