Map Kherash - fantasy map commission

    Hey guys,

Here's one of my latest works, a private commission, a part of the world of Kherash, for a RPG fantasy setting. The request was to make a full sepia-ish map so I did It's intended to be print on a 23"x33" poster size.

Hope you'll like it. As usual, feel free to rate, rep or un away

Hell yes! I really dig that style, Max.
It gives me that same feeling i had when i was a still young ( ) and opened a new fantasy book and lo and behold there was a nice map in it...to pour over for hours

Will there be more for this world? (You know me )

If i can, i'll rep. you. And have a "like".

Wow, that's incredible! I bet it would be even nicer
to have a copy that's poster size. If I saw this in a
book I was about to read, it wouldn't matter how
good or bad the writing was, I'd finish the book
    nevertheless.

I don't want to go overboard with praise, but this
map, and maps like it, are why I'm interested in
cartography. Like my signature says, the best maps
are the ones we like the most after looking at the
longest. The more I looked at this one, the more
interesting it became. So, really, excellent work.

The shape of the lands is very nice, the mountains excellent... And I seriously wonder how you can put so much informations which are all easy-to-read and harmonious with the map elements... That's magic to me!

@Ilanthar : Yep, labeling is indeed a very important on a map and to be honest, it's one of my favourite part

I always prefer a clearer separation of land-water, boggles my poor brain in sepia/b&w, LOL. That said, a gorgeous map. Well thought out and put together.
