Map Telrain - fantasy map commission

    Hey all,

This poster map was commissioned by the Geeks who Play who run a D&D Podcast Tales from Telrain. It's done in Photoshop and its original size is 27"x33".

Excellent work as always. Forests are sparse and it works well for this style. There, I managed to say something in particular rather just "hey, dat's purty." LOL
Upon the Creation of the World the First Dragons cast their seed in the light of a Sun and a Thousand Suns, beneath the Moon and a Thousand Moons, on a World and a Thousand Worlds.

I really like the frame in this one. Looks very good.
I myself can't get used to this sparse forest style. As a geographer i just do not see sense in it And "fashion" choices are no-go for me

    Have a Like.

I am a fan of this map. Everything flows together nicely into a simple style.

The sense was to depict forests and my intention was to match the simple style of the map As soon as you can tell it's forests, I guess it works

I second Eliathen, I love your frame on this one (I mean, you always do good frames, but this one is really blending perfectly with the map).

And the mountains are awesome too. Are there geeks who actually don't play? For me, it's part of the definition of "geek"
